Catchy Cantopop Combats Cybercrime

Hang Seng Bank was looking to address the rise in fraud cases by investing in better education for the public, believing that increasing awareness and understanding of fraud is key to preventing it. However, not everyone is naturally interested in cybersecurity, even though it is important to know about it.

The idea was to take well-loved Cantopop songs and transcreate lyrics to contain information on various forms of fraud including how to identify scam calls, texts, online sellers and social accounts. A free concert was then held featuring the artists perform the new versions of their songs.
